How to reply to customer’s request for quotations?

If customers cannot find the service, they are looking for on the Service Idol marketplace, they can submit a request for quotations. We will forward their quotation requests to multiple local service providers to submit price quotes and bids for the chance to fulfill their service requests.


As a Service Provider, you may receive customers’ quotation requests.


To reply to quotation requests, go to the Quotation link at the bottom navigation menu and then the Customer Request tab where you can find all new and old quotation requests. You can reply to new quotation requests from the New tab and update your replied quote from the Submitted tab

To view quotation request detail and to reply to quotation request, enter > as shown below and enter data and enter the Send button.

You can update your quote from the Submitted tab until the customer accepts or rejects your quote.


If the customer accepts your quote, then it becomes a service order, and you can go to the Customer Order tab to view this order where you can accept the order and assign the order to staff/assistant or to yourself to carry out the task.
